Good Engineering Co. is the independent practice of Roman Sheydvasser, a principal engineer with experience across observability, systems, platforms, and software.
Roman spent nearly six years at Datadog and later worked directly with clients on observability architecture, implementation, monitoring strategy, incident-response practices, and technical advising.
His current work also includes hands-on use of AI agents and practical AI automation, with an emphasis on choosing the right tools and keeping human judgment in the loop.
